Our Tall Headboards are available in four standard UK bed sizes: 2FT6 Small Single, 3FT Single, 4FT Small Double and 4FT6 Double.
The upholstered headboard measures 127cm (50") high and approximately 1–2" (2.5–5cm) deep, depending on the design. Our tall headboards are floor-standing and do not require fixing struts or attachment to the bed base.

Assembly is straightforward, but we recommend reading through these steps before you begin.
Before You Start
Make sure you have enough clear space behind your bed to position the headboard safely.
Check the headboard width against your bed width before assembly to ensure the correct size has been ordered.
We recommend having two people available for assembly to make handling and positioning easier.
Assembling the Headboard
Each Tall Headboard arrives flat-packed with all necessary fixings included. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the box to assemble the headboard safely and correctly.
Take care not to overtighten any fixings during assembly.
Positioning the Headboard
Once assembled, position the headboard centrally behind your bed. As the headboard is floor-standing, simply slide it into place — no wall fixing or bed attachment is required.
Ensure the headboard sits flush against the wall and is centred with the bed before use.
After Assembly
Once in position:
- Check that the headboard is straight and centred with the bed.
- Make sure all fixings are secure and nothing is loose.
- Check that the headboard is stable and does not wobble.
- Periodically recheck the fixings and tighten if necessary.
