Fabric colours can appear different on screen depending on your monitor settings and room lighting. We strongly recommend ordering free fabric samples before you buy, so you can compare texture, weight, and true colour in your own space.

All fabrics are upholstered by our skilled craftspeople at our UK workshop, ensuring a consistent, premium finish on every bed. Select your preferred fabric and colour using the options above, and your Ottoman Bed will be made to order especially for you.

Your Ottoman Bed is delivered flat-packed and requires home assembly. Please read all instructions supplied with your bed before starting, and check all parts and fixings are present before beginning.

What You'll Need

A screwdriver, drill, and scissors — plus a second person to assist with lifting and positioning. Tools are not supplied with your bed.

Parts Included With Your Bed

4FT Small Double & 4FT6 Double bases: U-clips and long screws are included to join the two base sections together. Single-section bases (2FT6 and 3FT) do not require these.

All sizes: Gas lift pistons are included and must be attached during assembly.

Headboard fixings: 4 screws are included for attaching tall and wing headboards. Low headboards include 4 additional screws.

Side-opening Ottoman Beds: 4 spacers are included — these must be fitted as instructed.

Step-by-Step Assembly

1. Unbox and check parts — Lay all components out and check against the parts list. Do not discard packaging until assembly is complete.

2. Assemble the base sections — Connect the divan base sections together using the provided fixings. Ensure the sections are aligned flush before tightening. (4FT and 4FT6 only: use the supplied U-clips and long screws.)

3. Attach the gas lift pistons — Fix the gas lift struts to the designated mounting points on the base frame. These support the mattress platform when the storage is opened.

4. Fit the mattress platform — Lower the slatted or solid mattress deck onto the gas lift struts and secure at the hinge points.

5. Attach the headboard — Fix the headboard struts to the rear of the base, then slide or bolt the headboard into position and tighten securely using the supplied screws.

6. Test the ottoman mechanism — With no mattress on, gently lift the platform from the foot end using the intended lifting points. It should rise smoothly and hold open. Lower it carefully and confirm it sits flat.

7. Place the mattress — Once the mechanism is confirmed working, place your mattress on the platform.

8. Test with mattress — Open and close the ottoman storage a few times with the mattress in place to confirm smooth operation.

Using Your Ottoman Storage Safely

Always lift from the designated foot-end lifting points — never force or lift from the sides. Keep hands, feet and obstructions clear of the mechanism when opening and closing. Never exceed the recommended weight capacity for storage. Ensure the base is fully lowered and flat before sitting or sleeping on the bed. Do not allow children to operate the ottoman mechanism unsupervised.
